[:en]Scripture Reading: Job 4
Biblical Truth: Job was strong and successful and he used to encourage and instruct many. (v. 3) But when all his wealth and health is gone, it seemed that all hope was lost (v. 5) Eliphaz came to say that no one who is innocent has ever been punished (v. 7) and trouble came to those who sow trouble. (v. 8) But his words were only partly true because in practical life, we also see the innocent perish while the evil prosper.
Personal Application: As Christian, all of us have finite bodies which will die. But as believers, we have hope because we live beyond what is physical. We have eternal life in Him.
Prayer: Dear Lord, our confidence in in you because you care for the upright. We know that we have a secure eternity with you.[:]
