Biblical Truth: “Unless the Lord build the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain” (Ps. 127:1). Truly, no matter how hard people work, if the Lord does not allow their labor to yield the desired fruit, then it won’t. Success of our endeavor is solely dependent upon God’s sovereignty.
Personal Application: It is by God’s grace that you are what you are today. All that you have, you owe it to Him because without Him, you can do nothing.
Prayer: Lord, help me to remember that all happen because it is your will. May we humbly submit to you and trust in your leading.[:]
