Biblical Truth: Zophar’s response to Job was : “Get rid of your sins, and you can lift up your face without shame; Your will forget your trouble and lie down without fear. (vs. 14-19) That was a kind of thinking that sin begets punishment and good performance means rewards. However, Christianity is not just based on the rule of good versus evil. The real truth is that we are all under God’s grace because of our relationship with Him.
Personal Application: We can never stop sinning if we do not accept Christ and have a close relationship with Him.
