[:en]In 1961, US Senator Robert Kennedy visited South Africa. He offered words of hope to opponents of apartheid in his famous “Ripple of Hope” speech at the University of Cape Town.
At this present age, hope seems scarce. But for followers of Christ, there is an ultimate hope. Peter wrote: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the death” (1 Peter :3)
As a child of God, we have HOPE because Jesus has conquered death for us. Our hope is in Jesus’ blood and His righteousness. And he can infuse hope into the most hopeless situation.[:]
