[:en]When we are baptized, we are identified with Him by the Spirit in his death, burial and resurrection. Our old self is crucified with him so that we should no longer be slave to sin (v. 6). Since Christ was raised from dead, we are also alive in Christ Jesus (v. 11).
Do not let sin reign in your mortal body or offer the parts of your body to sin but rather offer yourself to God as instrument of righteousness for sin shall not be your master. Your are not under law but under grace. (v.s 12-14).
