[:en]The descendants of Moab was born out of Lot’s incestuous union with one of his daughter. (Gen. 19:30-38)  It is a proud nation that trusted in its own military might.  They were later invaded by the Assyrians (vs. 1-4) , so they fled, wailed and lamented.[:]
