[:en]God pronounced judgment against the nations and upon the whole world.  There will be dead bodies bathed  in blood (v. 3), the heavenly bodies will fall (v. 4), and people will be sacrificed like animals (vs. 6-7).  Edom will become desolate (vs. 9-15) because God will vindicate for the cause of Zion.
