- After God’s chastening, He will forgive and give you a new beginning (vs. 1-5) – Be grateful for His mercy.
- People are like grass and flower that withers and fall, but the word of God stands forever (vs. 6-8) – Be diligent to read His Word.
- God is the shepherd who gathers the flock in His arms, carries them close to His heart, and gently leads them on his way (vs. 9-11) – Be obedient to His guidance.
- God’s greatness and power are revealed in His creation. He considers nations like a drop in the bucket. He promised the exiles that they will return and rebuild the nation (vs. 12-17) – Be confident of His promises
- Nothing can compare with God and no one can be His equal (vs. 18, 25). He has great power and mighty strength to control everything (v. 26) – Be humble to follow Him.
