[:en]Thoughts from Isaiah 45[:]

[:en]”I am the Lord, there is no God apart from me” was being repeated six times (v. 5, 6, 14, 18, 21, 22).  It emphasized the sovereignty of God, who anointed Cyrus and gave him honor to subdue nations and open the door before Him. (vs. 1-6)

No one can question God because He was the one who made the earth and created mankind (v. 11).  All makers of idols will be put to shame and disgrace but Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation (vs. 16-17).  Before Him, every knee will bow, every tongue will swear in the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.  (v. 24)[:]
