[:en]Promises of God to Israel:

  1. In the time of my favor,I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you.  I will keep you and make you to be a covenant for the people to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances (v. 8)
  2. I will set you free.  I will feed you beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill (v. 9)
  3. You will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon you.  I will guide and lead you beside springs of water (v. 10)
  4. I will turn all my mountains into roads, and highways will be raised up for all  from afar to walk on it (vs. 11-12)
  5. I will never forget you (v. 15)
  6. I will engrave you on the palms of His hands (v. 16)
  7. Your sons will return and those who laid you waste will depart from you  (v. 17)
  8. Children will be born during your bereavement and will be brought up (v. 21)
  9. The Gentiles will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders (v. 22)
  10. Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mother.  They will bow down before you and lick the dust at your feet. (v.  23)
  11. I will contend with those who contend you and save your children (v. 25)
  12. I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh and drink their own blood (v. 26a)

Conclusion of what the Almighty God does:

“That all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob” (v. 26b)[:]
