[:en]As the nation was preparing to leave Babylon and return home, God instructed them to remember the past (vs. 1-2), look forward to His salvation (vs. 3-8), and press on to Zion (vs. 9-11).

“But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail” (v. 6b)

“But my righteousness will last forever, my salvation through all generations (v. 8b)

“I ,even I, am He who comforts you.  Who are you that you fear mortal men, the sons of men who are but grass, that you forget the Lord your Maker?”” (v. 12)[:]
