[:en]The Lord used object lessons to relay His messages:
1. A linen belt was hidden in Perath and after many days, it was ruined and useless. In the same way, the people of Judah and Jerusalem will become useless like the linen belt. (vs. 1-10)
2. Wine skin was filled with wine. The Lord was going to fill with drunkenness all who live in the land. He would smash it and show no pity (vs. 12-14)
3. Flocks were entrusted to shepherd but the shepherd failed to take good care of them. So they were taken to slaughter by the invaders. (vs. 20-22)
4. Their sins were as deep as the spots of the leopard which could be removed (v. 23)
