[:en]Scripture Reading: Job 27
Biblical Thoughts: Job refused to succumb to the pressure of his friends to confess his sins. He was absolutely sure that his conscience was clear. He was honest to say of his uprightness because his conscience was tuned to God. All that Job was struggling was the mystery of God’s dealing with him despite of his clear conscience.
Personal Application: The fate of the wicked — sword, plague, misfortune, illness, suffering — also happen to the faithful. But if your conscience is clear and trained by His Word, God will give you the endurance to withstand and overcome. His peace will be in your heart to comfort you.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, use your Word to train my conscience. Let my heart and mind be clear in your presence.[:]
