[:en]Thoughts from “Light to My Path” (10/02/17)[:]

[:en]Scripture Reading:  Job 15

Biblical Truth:  During time of suffering, Job’s friend Eliphaz had negative words for him.  He did not believe in Job’s insistence of innocence but subscribed to the notion that the righteous always thrives while the wicked will suffer.  Instead of comforting him, he was accusing him falsely.

Biblical Application:  When faced with trials, the first thing you should consider is your relationship with God.  You have a better understanding of how God is going to judge you than the judgment of others.  Seek counsel from Christians who also have a deep relationship with God.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, help me to know you better be spending more time with you through your Word and prayer.[:]
