[:en]Scripture Reading: Job 38:1-21
Biblical Truth: From Job chapter 3-37, God was depicted as an unreachable Almighty but in chapter 38, He became a personal Lord. When the Lord finally spoke to Job, He asked a lot of questions: Who … Where … What … Have you … Can you … Do you …. Will the … Does the … ? In his bleakest moments, Job had look forward to hell as a God-free zone. But from His questions, God told Job to look at things in a different way. God stretched Job’s imagination that he would not be alone.
Personal Application: Many times in our life, we experience emptiness, desperation, discouragement and feel that God is so far away from us unable to listen to our cry. But if we are patient, God will break His silence and let us look at things in a different way. Our focus will be on Him and not on our circumstances.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, we know you a a personal God whom we can trust and pour out our anxiety. Open our eyes to see things in a new perspective.[:]
