[:en]Scripture Reading: Job 17
Biblical truth: As Job struggled with pessimism facing his uncomprehensible suffering, he cried out to God. Job continued to assert his innocence while his friends accused of his wrongdoings as the cause of his suffering. The book Job shows that prosperity and security were not necessarily a reward for faith in God an affliction and trouble were not also signs of faithlessness.
Personal Application: When you feel your circumstances seem to have a grim fate, remember that there is more in the next life to come. The world views it as “losers” but we must evaluate in God’s view for He promised us a wonderful future with Him.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, comfort me when I am in great distress. Give me hope in living and joy in you.[:]
