[:en]Worry is one of Satan’s weapon to keep us from trusting the Lord. If you are worrying about something, ponder on the promises of God:
- Cast you burden on the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous be shaken (Psalm 55:22)
- Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)
- Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Mat. 11:28)
- Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God (Philippians 4:6)
- And the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows (Mat. 10:30-31; Luke 12:7)
- Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Mat. 6:24)
- So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and keep you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isa. 4:10)
- Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me (John 14:1)
- He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart (Psalms 91:4)
- Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid nor terrified because of them. For the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deut. 3:16)
- For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)
- Therefore, I tell you do not worry about your life what you will eat or dink or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more valuable than clothes? Look at the birds of the air. They do no sow or reap or store any in barns and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they? Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? (Ma.t 6:25-27)
Prophet Isaiah reminded us that because of the great power and strength of God, not one of the stars that He brings out is missing (Isa. 40:25-26). He will renew the strength of those who hope in the Lord. They will soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint (Isa. 40:31)
Turn your worries to our Lord. He promises never to leave you nor forsake you. His loving arms are always around you to face difficulty.
