[:en]When God saw the ancient Israelites in Jerusalem crafting and worshiping idols, He sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because He had pity of His people and on His dwelling place. (2 Chr. 36:15) God also spoke through prophet Jeremiah but the people refused to listen (Jer. 18:L12) As a result, God allowed Nebuchadnezzar to destroy them.
