[:en]When the disciples were with Jesus on a boat, a furious squall came up and the waves broke one of the boat so that it was nearly swamped. (Mark 4:37) The disciples were frightened. They woke Jesus up and He calmed the sea. The disciples were terrified and asked each other: “Who is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him?”(Mark 4:41) The disciples were hand picked by Jesus to follow Him. They went through the turbulent storm to witness the power of Jesus.
No one is exempted from the storms of life. We may not understand why God allows trials to enter our lives but it is through trials that we can come to know who He is. We can remain at peace because we are secured Him.[:]
