[:en]David battled with the brevity of his life when he said: “Show me Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeing my life is” (Ps. 39:4)
He described his life’s span as no longer than the width of his hand, as only a moment to God and merely a breadth (v. 5) And he concluded: “But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you” (v. 7)
Indeed, your time on earth is limited. It is like the ticking of a clock counting down your life. Now is the time to seek the Lord and make every second count in your remaining days on earth. Find hope in God. Use your time wisely. Make changes to live for Jesus![:]
