[:en]Our parents give us rules and regulations on what we should do and what we should not do. But sometimes, we consider their instructions a killjoy to keep us from enjoying ourselves. For example. They warn us not to play with fire because they don’t want us to be burned. They told us not to run to the streets because a car may hit us. All these rules are for our own good to protect us from harm.
Likewise, we do not understand the reasons behind God’s commands. God wants us to obey His Word because He has our best interest at heart. He wants to protect us and remain in His love. We can find joy by obeying Him.
