[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (10/07/17)[:]

[:en]Horses have the largest eyes of all land mammals, yet they have poor eyesight and can see only few colors.  They cannot always identify objects on  the ground so that they can easily step on something that might harm them.  For this reason, they have to be properly trained.

Job misunderstood his troubled and thought that the Lord was trying to destroy him.  He cried out: “God has wronged me and drawn his net around me” (Job 19:6)

We too have limited and unclear vision.  We cannot see what is beyond and doubt God’s goodness.  Trusting God’s faithfulness can dispel our fearfulness.  Replace fear with faith because God is always for us, in us and with us.[:]
