[:en]Ezekiel told the Jewish elders about the nation’s history from Exodus to the desert journey until the conquest of the promised land.  He revealed that Israel was guilty of repeated rebellion against the Lord (vs. 8, 13, 21), but for the sake of His Name, he relented. (vs. 9, 14, 22) and kept it from being profaned in the eyes of the Gentile nations.[:]
