[:en]Ezekiel saw a scroll stretched out to him with the written words of lament, mourning and woes. He was told to eat the scroll and when he ate it, it tasted as sweet as honey in his mouth. (vs. 1-3) God told him to say His word to the people despite of their hardened hearts (v. 7). But God promise to sustain him. (v. 9).
He was filled with the Spirit and was taken to the exiles to be their watchman (v. 17) and told to stay home and be quiet until he received the message to speak (vs. 24-27).[:]
