[:en]Thoughts from Hebrews 9[:]

[:en]The earthly sanctuary is incomparable with the heavenly sanctuary.  In the early temple, the furnishings were only symbols, yearly sacrifice had to be made, and the offerings did not clear the conscience of the worshiper.  But when Christ came, He died once and for all to purify us, perfect us, and save us. (v. 26)

“Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (vs. 27-28)[:]
