[:en]God told Jeremiah to wear a yoke (v. 2) to convey His message three times:  First to the ambassadors from Edom, Moab, Amon, Tyre and Sidon (vs. 1-11), next to king Zedekiah (vs. 12-15) and then to the priests and the people (vs. 16-22)  His message to them was not to listen to false prophets but to submit to Babylon and serve him so that they would live.  If they rejected it, they would die.[:]
