Biblical Truth: The church in Ephesus had good reputation, hardwork, perseverance, endurance, sound doctrines, faithful in His name, intolerant of wickedness. But they had forsaken their first love. God wanted them to repent and return to their first love.
Personal Application: Has your ministry become a burden and a matter of required work rather then something done out of love for the Lord? Are you still passionate about Him? Remember your conversion experience and rekindle your “first love” with the Lord by showing His love towards all the people around you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. Help me to fell in love with you again.[:]
