[:en]Scripture Reading: Revelation 16:12-21
There are spiritual powers behind temporal principalities. And believers of every age are targets of coercion, co-option, deception, suppression and persecution. Capitulation is richly rewarded with life, social acceptance, wealth, ease and comfort. The price of compromise is high for the faith community as well as for the world. Compromise reinforces the power of the beast and places us on an alliance with evil and or a collision course of the judgment of God.
Personal Application: Let us be vigilant and worship only the Lamb. Let us be firm and never to compromise with the world.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for the perpetual presence of the Holy Spirit to guide as and intercedes for us.[:]
