Biblical Truth: God’s voice is”thunder” – powerful, inspiring fear and awe (Ps. 29:3). His voice announced that there would be no more “delay” for his will shall be accomplished.
Personal Application: John spoke and taught God’s word after he had assimilated it and allowed it to permeate his being. We too, must “eat” the Word of God and let it pervade and control our lives before we share it with others. The Word of God is sweet as its messages are of encouragement, love, comfort and hope. It is bitter because it pronounces warnings and judgments. (Ps. 19:7-11)
Prayer: Thank you Lord for giving us your Word. May we learn to medicate and keep it in our hearts.[:]
