[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (12/11/17)[:]

[:en]During World War 2, the Allied troops needed the sharp services of dogs to sniff their way through mine filed and to warn troops of approaching danger.  And the only way to get theses dogs to troops behind enemy line was by parachute.  But dogs are instinctively afraid of doing this.  But after weeks of training, the dogs learn to trust their masters enough to obey at their command.

Likewise, when our Master calls you to do changing or fearful things, do you have enough trust to follow His command?  The Psalmist says:  “In you do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk”  (Ps. 143:8)

Paradogs often received medals for their bravery.  We too can someday receive a crown when our master shall say “well don, my faithful servant”[:]
