[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (12/15/17)[:]

[:en]The 3 clans from the priestly tribes of Levi – Kohathites, Gershonites and Merarites were assigned the job of transporting the Tent of Meeting (Tabernacle) during Israel’s 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.  They had to put it up, took it down and carry it to the next place which was repeated again and again.  Their assignments look insignificant and not prestigious.  But it was important because it came from the Lord.

When we do work for the Lord, we must have a right attitude toward the tasks we are given.  We must do it humbly, willingly, wholeheartedly and devotedly in order to honor Him.[:]
