[:en]Thoughts from Genesis 24[:]

[:en]Abraham was now old and well advanced in years.  He told the chief servant in his household to go to his country and get a wife for his son Isaac.  The servant left with 10 camels and made his way to the town of Nahor.  He met Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel, son of Milcah, who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor.  She not only gave him and his camel water to drink but also invited him to stay the night at their house.  Then the servant told him that his master commissioned him to get a wife for his son from his father’s family and clan.  When Laban and Bethuel heard what the servant said, they agreed to let Rebekah become the wife of Isaac  So Rebekah and her maids got ready and went back with the servant.  Both Isaac and Rebekah got married and became husband and wife.[:]
