- You planted much but harvested little.
- You eat, but never have enough.
- You drink, but never have your fill.
- You put on clothes, but are not warm.
- You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.
- You expected much, but it turned out to be little.
then Zerubbbabel, the high priest and the whole remnant of the peopled obeyed the voice of the Lord and the message of prophet Haggai. the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel and Joshua and the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord on the24th days of the 6th month in the second year of King Darius.[:]
