[:en]David reminded us to praise the Lord and forget not all His benefits (Ps. 103:2)
What are His benefits?
- He forgives all your sins (v. 3)
- He redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion (v. 4)
- He satisfies your desires with good thing (v. 5)
- He works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed (v.6)
- He is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love (v. 8)
- He will not always accuse nor will he harbor his anger forever (v. 9)
- He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities (v. 10)
- He has compassion on those who fear him (v. 13)
- His love is with those who fear him and his righteousness with their children’s children (v. 17)
In the events of our daily life, we shift our attention to pressing needs, recurring failures and circumstances that seem out of control. We forget that God is our forgiver, healer, redeemer, provider, satisfier and renewer. Let us come to Jesus and remember every benefit that He has provided us. Let us thank Him for His grace and love.[:]
