“1 Peter 5:7.) Let His assurance of security and comfort give us the courage to face whatever comes on our way.[:]”
[:en]There is an iconic landmark in London, England which has a clock tower known as Big Ben. It is traditionally thought that the melody of the tower chimes was taken from the tune of “I Know that My Redeemer Liveth” from Handel’s Messiah. Words were added and put on display in the clock room: “Lord, through this hour be Thou our guide; So by Thy power no foot shall slide”
In Psalm 37, David also wrote that “The Lord delights in a man’s way, He makes his steps firm; though he stumbles, he will never fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand” (vs. 23-24)
How fortunate to have a creator of the universe who not only upholds us and helps us but He also cares deeply about every details of our lives. Let us “cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us” ((1 Peter 5:7.) Let His assurance of security and comfort give us the courage to face whatever comes on our way.[:]
