[:en]At last, the saints and the 24 elders shout “Amen, Hallelujah!” at the fall of Babylon. Sins have been judged and God’s servants have been vindicated. The rider on the White horse captured the beast and the false prophets and thrown them alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. the godless armies of earth are defeated by the Lord and become food for the birds. The rest of them were killed with the sword as the rider ushers in the new Kingdom.
Two suppers are mentioned:
- The marriage supper of the Lamb which brings blessings (v. 9)
- “The supper of the great God” which brings judgment (vs. 17-21)
Our savior is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are secured because He will be reigning in the future.
