[:en]Thoughts from Mark 3[:]

[:en]Jesus appointed the twelve Apostles :

  1. Simon Peter
  2. James (son of Zebedee)
  3. John
  4. Andrew
  5. Philip
  6. Bartholomew
  7. Matthew
  8. Thomas
  9. James (son of Alphaeus)
  10. Thaddaues
  11. Simon the Zealot
  12. Judas Iscariot

When Jesus drove out Beelzebub, the teachers of the law said by the prince of demons Jesus was driving out demons.  Jesus said:  “How can Satan drive out Satin?  If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand’ his end has come” (vs. 23-26)

Jesus said:  “All the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them.  But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin” (vs. 28-29)  “Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother” (v. 35)

Things to ponder:

  1. Are you a disciple of Christ?
  2. Have you ever blasphemed against the Holy Spirit?
  3. Are you willing to do God’s will?
