[:en]As we commemorate Holy Thursday today, let us think of Jesus on the night before His death. He went to the Mount of Olives in the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed to the Father in anguish with sweat like drops of blood falling to the ground (Luke 27:44)
He suffered, died, took away “the sins of the world” (John 1:29) and restore our broken relationship with the Father. He took up our pain, bore our suffering, pierced for our transgressions and was crushed for our iniquities. And by His wounds we are healed. (Isa. 53:4-5)
Let us appreciate the depths of God’s love and cry out in worship and gratitude (Bill Crowder)[:]
