[:en]Sin (vs. 1-4)
“If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, “I repent,’ forgive him..” (vs. 3-4)
When you rebuke another Christian for a sin, check your attitude before you speak. Unless you are willing to love and forgive him, your rebuke will not help the sinning person.
Faith (vs. 5-6)
The apostles said to the Lord : “Increase our faith” (v. 5). Faith is a complete trust and loyalty to God and the willingness to do His will in obedience and humility. The amount of faith is not important. It is the right kind of faith in our all-powerful God.
Duty (vs. 7-10)
If we have done what we are supposed to do, that is our duty. (v. 10)
Ten Healed of Leprosy (vs. 11-19)
Jesus healed 10 men who had leprosy. But only one, a Samaritan, came back to thank Him. Have you experienced physical healing from God’s power? Do you thank God for His goodness, mercy and grace? Do you express your gratitude to someone who has done something for you?
The Coming of the Kingdom of God (vs. 20-37)
The Kingdom of God is at hand. It begins with the work of God’s spirit in people’s lives and in relationships. It is an inward spiritual reality within people, not an outward social manifestation. The time is coming when many will claim to be the Messiah and many will claim that the Son of Man has returned. We must not believe on them. When Christ returns, his power and presence will be evident and we can see it for ourselves. His coming will be sudden. So we must be prepared at anytime. Live as if Jesus is coming today![:]
