[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (4/15/18)[:]

[:en]W.T. Stead was n English journalist who wrote articles about the danger of ships operating with an insufficient ratio of lifeboats to passengers.  Ironically, he was aboard the Titanic when it struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic on April 15, 1912.   Report said that he helped women and children into lifeboats and sacrificed his own life by giving up his life vest and a place in the lifeboat so others could be rescued.

Jesus also offered Himself as sacrifice for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age.  His sacrifice is the measure of His love and grace.  Let us respond to Him with faith and worship.
