[:en]Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue was built in the 19th century in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. It was dynamited by commandos during the 1948 Arab-Israel War. The site was laid in ruins for years until in 2014, when the rebuilding began.
In Lamentations, Jeremiah described his anguish with a heartfelt prayer: “unless you have utterly rejected us and are angry with us beyond measure (Lam. 5:22). And God answered that prayer when the exiles returned to Jerusalem in decades later.
Our lives may seem to be in ruins and troubles laving us fully devastated. But we have a Father who understands our concerns. He can restore and build something better for us. He will grant us a new life with His forgiveness, love and care.
