[:en]While Jesus was on earth, Peter walked and talked with Him and had a personal relationship with Him. So when he addressed readers scattered throughout the Roman Empire, he wrote: “Though you have not seen Christ, you love Him” (1 Peter 1:8) Peter had brought them to the knowledge of Christ who gave them hope in the middle of their troubles. The price of Jesus’ life had brought believers into the the everlasting family of God.
