[:en]We are called “Human Race” because we are always racing after time. Each day, we have work to do, appointments to keep, people to care for, obligations to fulfill, meetings to attend, etc. Many of us are rushing from one matter to another.
When the apostles gathered around Jesus, He said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest’ (Mar 6:31) Jesus emphasized the importance of taking a rest.
“While we struggle with our grip on work and careers, our families and ministry, find true rest by recognizing the presence of God and trusting Him. Tune out the distractions, put away the tense restlessness, and reflect in gratitude on the wonder of God’s love and faithfulness.
