[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (8/21/18)[:]

[:en]While standing in line for a popular attraction at Disneyland, David McCasland noticed that most people were talking and smiling instead of complaining about the long wait.  The waiting became an enjoyable experience because people were with friends, families, groups and they were talking and sharing their experiences

Christian life is also meant to live in company with others.  We are to live in community with other followers of Jesus so that we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Heb. 10:22-25).

Let us not give up meeting together in order to reassure and reinforce each other, “encouraging one another” (v. 25)  Do not face life alone.  Instead, travel together so that even in our most difficult days may become a meaningful part of our journey of faith when others share them with us.[:]
