[:en]When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses refused to accept the mantle of leadership. His excuse was he was not eloquent and he was slow of speech (Ex. 4:10) But God replied him saying: “Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord?” (Ex. 4:11)
Since the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, God’s Spirit enable His children to carry out the assignments He gives to us. We are His mouthpiece to spread the Good News.[:]
