[:en]FOOD SACRIFICED TO THE IDOLS (vs. 1-13)

For a matured Christian, eating foods sacrificed to idols is nothing because he considers idols as nothing.  But he should avoid eating it if it will offend some Chrisitians with sensitive conscience.  A Christian friend is tied to Chrstian responsibility.  New believers are sensitive to what is right or wrong, so we must be careful not to offend them and cause them to sin.  We must used our freedom to strngthen the faith of brothers and sisters in Christ.

“Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again so that I will not cause him to fall” (v. 13)
