[:en]REMEMBER ME

Until now, I still like the piano piece of “Remember Me”.  That reminds me of the Last Supper when Jesus took  bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them saying:  “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19).

Many times, we have a short memory of Gods provision.  Like the disciples of Jesus, when they were on a journey acrross the Sea of Galilee, they realized that they had forgotten to bring bread and were talking about it.  Jesus reminded them about how He fed five thousand people with five loaves with twelve basketfuls of leftovers pieces and He fed four thousand with seven loves with seven baskets leftovers.  They forgot that Jesus was the Bread of Life .

As we partake of the Holy Communion, let us not forget God’s love and sacrifice.  Let us thank Him for His provision.  And most important of all, let us REMEMBER HIM!
