David Wilkerson was the founder of Teen Challenge, a ministry to at-risk youth that started in New York City. He sold his television and committed to pray for two hours each night in lieu of his TV watching time. He praise God and asked God for help.
During the temple dedication, King Solomon praised God for his holiness, greatness and faithfulness. He also asked God to show mercy to the Israelites and to provied for their needs. Immeditately after Solomon’s prayer, “fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the glory of the Lord filled the temple” (2 Chron. 7:1)
Let us praise God for who He is and what He does. Let us also come to His presence and ask what you need from HJim.
