[:en]GIVE THANKS

During thanksgiving day, many celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast of Turkeys.  It is a day for us to count the many blessings that God has given us.

Paul was in prison when he wrote letters of instruction for believers to be thankful.  Paul wrote:   “Be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spirutal songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”  (Col. 3:16-17).  “Be joyful always; Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Let us learn to be contented and to be thankful.  Let us thank the Lord for His salvation, provision, providence and guidance.  Let us express our gratitude by saying “THANK YOU” to God and to the people around us.[:]
