[:en]PAUL THE PREACHER TO THE GENTILES (vs. 1-13)

Although Paul was less than the least of all God’s people, he was chosen to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ and to reveal the mystery of Christ which was hidden in the previous generation.  This mystery of Christ is that hrough the gospel, the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel working together of one body and share together in the provisions of Christ Jesus (v. 6).  His eternal purpose was that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God’s wisdom should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.  In Him through faith, we may approach God with freedom and confidence (v. 12).

Paul was put to jail because he preached the Good News to the Ephesians.  He endured the pain of persecution to bring new believers to Christ.  Likewise, God calls you to take your cross and follow Him.  Are you willing to endure pain so that God’s message of salvation can reach the entire world?
